Autobiography: Brandon (2013)

My wife is 25 and I am 24; we were both raised in Henderson, Texas. We grew up in the same grade together, and also attended the same church during our high school years. We were married December 18, 2010. Brittney and I both attend BMATS. I recently graduated there with the BAR. Now I’m working on my MAR, and Brittney is working on her BAR. We both see ourselves finishing by the Christmas of 2012. I am currently the youth minister at New Hope Baptist Church in Streetman, Texas.

Our marriage is wonderful. We have been married about
And everyday I love her more. I married my first crush. I have liked her since the 3rd grade! And now I love her. We got engaged the next day after we got back from Thailand. It was on my birthday 8/9/09. Honestly she is perfect for me, and it seems that I am for her. God is just way too good to allow us to have each other at a young age. We dated a year and a half before we got engaged, and then we were engaged for a year and a half before we got married.

No children yet. We have been planning to hold off until we are done with language school. We will see if that’s God’s plan. We would also like to adopt at least one child from the country we will be living in, Lord willing.

We are both really excited about the calling God has given us. And at the same time we know that there will be trials as well. But we both know there is nowhere better than being where God puts you! We rely on the Holy Spirit and God’s sovereign nature.

  2. Your time clock is soooo cool. Love what you have been called to do. Will Pray for your mission to be successful. I missed you at Pocahontas. I was not doing well and had taken pain meds that prevented me from driving. Forgot and almost drove anyway. God Bless you both. I do wish I could have met you. When you return for a visit, Lord willing, you might come see us again and I will have the honor of hearing about your time in Thailand, and seeing you.
