I. I think it all started first with a broken heart
seeing reports at camps and church
II. Next was a desire to meet those needs, but I perceived
myself to be inadequate and unable
III. April 2008 God called me to the ministry
a. Didn’t know what, but knew God wanted me to do
something, so I followed
IV. God’s providence brought Brittney to Thailand a few months later, summer 2008
V. God made a way for me to go with her in the summer of
09; we didn't want to come back home!
a. Our hearts were broken when we witnessed so many
people that have never heard the Gospel!
b. God confirmed after this trip that we should marry and
work overseas
VI. Our friends and family noticed our desires
VII. The church observed and confirmed God’s leading in
this direction
VIII. Another confirmation has been our work among East
Asians from then till now
a. We love all people groups, but the Lord seems to have
planted in both of us a pull towards the Thai people
