On April 4,
2008 I knew God was calling me to serve him in a special way, and it was hard
for me to accept that he could use someone like me, but that day he broke me.
Looking back at the stories in the Bible it made more since to me. God chooses
the weak to show off his character. So I now know with prayer and lots of
guidance from seasoned spiritual leaders around me that the only way I can be
satisfied “vocationally” is with the service to God through the Gospel. God’s
plan for me is slowly unrolling before me. I see missions in the future because
of events, passions in my life, and the church’s confirmation. My wife and I
have been to Thailand and fell in love with the Buddhist saturated country. Our
hearts truly hurt for others in the world that have not heard of the living
water and taken a drink. It is so good! And we want them to see that by
observing the joy we find in Him in our lives. We want them to taste and see
that the Lord is good.
